US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced today, Tuesday, its approval of a USD 20 billion arms deal with Israeli Occupation.

The deal includes the sale of F-15 fighter jets, armored vehicles, tank shells, and air-to-air missiles.

The Pentagon said that the agreement involves the sale of 100 "F-IA 15" and "F-15I" fighter jets valued at USD 18.82 billion, 120mm artillery shells worth USD 774.1 million, and advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles for USD 102.5 million.

The deal also includes modified M1148A1B2 tactical vehicles, priced at USD 583.1 million.

The Pentagon noted that the delivery of the aircraft, vehicles, and bombs is expected within the next two to five years, with the majority of the costs being covered by US aid to Israeli Occupation.

Haaretz said that the deal was discussed between senior Israeli Occupation and US officials, along with aircraft manufacturers. The agreement still requires approval from both the US House of Representatives and the Senate, whose members will have the opportunity to raise objections in the coming weeks.

If finalized, this will be one of the largest arms deals between Israeli Occupation and the United States.
